Thompson Health Physical Therapists are professionals who evaluate and treat people of all ages who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their ability to function optimally in the community. Our experienced therapists will work with you to develop a personalized plan of care in order to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.

- Evaluation and treatment of all orthopaedic injuries
- Specialized back and neck care: there are three McKenzie credentialed therapists and two therapists certified in the Duffy-Rath technique
- Therapist-supervised Aquatic Therapy (available at Canandaigua location only)
- Rehabilitation for neurologically-involved patients including but not limited to Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and those who have suffered a stroke
- Care for patients with balance disorders, dizziness and vestibular dysfunction by Vestibular Competency-certified therapists
- Extensive experience in total joint rehabilitation (knees and hips), including pre-surgical sessions to speed post-surgical recuperation
- Wound care using Infrared Light Therapy, Pulsed Lavage Therapy (available at Canandaigua location only) with a WCC-certified wound care therapist
- Women's Health therapy to strengthen the pelvic floor
- Aftercare: An independent maintenance program that allows you to continue to exercise under the supervision of a Rehabilitation Services associate
