F.F. Thompson Hospital Visiting Hours
For general medical/surgical units 11:00 am to 8:30 pm daily.
All other units have different hours and you will need to check with the nursing staff on that unit. We ask that only two people visit at any one time. Children less than 14 years old are not allowed unless permission is received in advance by the nursing unit manager or designee.
Birthing Center Visiting Hours
11 am - 8:30 pm. Visitors need to check with the nursing staff about limitations. Please check the The Birthing Center page for details
Please refrain from visiting if you are ill or feel you are coming down with something.
We encourage your designated family spokesperson person to call the unit to inquire about your loved one. We also ask that calls be avoided between 7:00-8:00 am and 3:00-4:00 pm so that the information can be communicated by the appropriate nurse or staff member after shift change.
Interpretive Services
If you do not speak English, or if you are visually and/or deaf and/or hard of hearing, interpretation services can be provided for you at no charge. Tell the person helping you that you need an interpreter.
Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing
If you are deaf and/or hard of hearing, please tell us. We need to know the best ways to communicate with you. Tell us if you wear hearing aids or need any assisted listening devices.
Public Telephones
There is a public phone between the Emergency Department and Diagnostic Imaging Department waiting areas. There is a brown courtesy telephone that will allow you to make local calls free of charge at the Information Desk in the Main Lobby (please limit calls to 2 minutes).
