SafeGait 360° Balance and Mobility Trainer® is a ceiling-mounted dynamic body-weight support (BWS) and fall protection system. It promotes a safe, efficient therapy session to individuals with a variety of impairments as they practice walking, improve strength and overcome balance concerns.

SafeGait tracks patient movements 2,500 times per second. The state-of-the-art overhead device slides along a monorail-like track, protecting and moving with the patient as they practice average daily living activities one-on-one with their therapist. The system maintains position relative to the patient and ensures constant tension on the strap, even after a prevented fall. This creates a safe environment for therapists and patients, instilling the confidence needed to pursue early and intense therapy.

Key performance measures including time, distance, repetitions, falls prevented, average body-weight support and speed are documented. This allows therapists to manage patient data and offer a customizable Plan of Care.
