Pulmonary Services at F. F. Thompson Hospital support the care of pulmonary patients within the hospital and intensive care units. Conditions commonly encountered in the ICU include sepsis, respiratory failure, shock and perioperative resuscitation.
Hospital consultation provides specialty care due to COPD, complex pneumonia and other acute respiratory illness. Procedures performed for inpatients include bronchoscopy, airway management, vascular access, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture and mechanical ventilator management.
Outpatient services are provided at our Pulmonary Clinic in the Marilyn Sands Outpatient Clinic. In addition, we offer Pulmonary Rehabilitation at F.F. Thompson Hospital's Cardiac Rehab gym.
