Dr. Chehata graduated from the Alexandria School of Medicine in 1985 and then went on to complete his internship and residency in Karmouz Hospital, Alexandria, Egypt in 1991. He did his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and became Board Certified in Great Britain from 1991 through 1996.
Dr. Chehata came to the United States in 1997 and completed his second residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the George Washington University Medical Center, Washington, DC in 2002.
He is Board Certified, a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians in Great Britain and a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
His subspecialty interests include urinary incontinence and infertility.
