With Stroke, Every Second Counts!

KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS:

  • Sudden numbness or weakness: usually affects the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
  • Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
  • Sudden trouble seeing: either in one eye or both eyes
  • Sudden trouble walking, dizziness, or loss of balance or coordination
  • Sudden, severe headache with no known cause

If you think you or the person you are with is having a stroke, call 911 immediately!

Make sure the people you care about know the warning signs of a stroke and the importance of immediate action. Call 911 immediately if you or someone near you experiences the symptoms above and ask to be taken to Thompson Health.
