Guild to Hold Chicken Barbecue July 9 at Runnings

CANANDAIGUA – The Thompson Health Guild will host its second annual chicken barbecue in the parking lot of Runnings, at the corner of Routes 5 & 20 and County Road 10, on Saturday, July 9.

Beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until sold out, the event will feature meals prepared by Ace Automatics of Seneca Falls. The cost is $12 per meal. Presale tickets are available from members of the guild’s board of directors, and online pre-orders can be placed through July 5 at www.ThompsonHealth.com/BBQ.

The Thompson Health Guild is the auxiliary of UR Medicine Thompson Health, fundraising for the nonprofit organization in order to support capital campaigns, purchase medical equipment and offer programs for hospital patients, nursing home residents, staff members and community members.
