Canandaigua is a thriving community located about 30 miles southeast of Rochester. Located at the north end of Canandaigua Lake, in the scenic Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. Canandaigua has been the seat of county government and the business and commercial center of the area since its founding in 1789.

This beautiful four-season destination in the Finger Lakes, offers something for everyone. Main Street's historic Victorian architecture leads the way to great shopping in our downtown and beautiful Canandaigua Lake.

Canandaigua is the Iroquois word for "chosen spot" and the area is truly blessed with spectacular scenery. The area is renowned for its wineries, fruits and vegetables. We enjoy water sports in the spring and summer, beautiful fall foliage and snow sports in the winter.
