Letter from the CEO: Another Year of Growth and Progress

There’s something about this time of year and how it brings everything into focus. We are more keenly aware of the things which make us most grateful, we pause to reflect on all of the things that have happened over the past 12 months, and we begin to look forward to the future.

As we bid farewell to 2023 and usher in the new year, we can certainly be proud of everything we have collectively accomplished within Thompson Health when it comes to our growth, our successful recruitment efforts, and the quality care we provide.

As you will read in this issue of Partners in Health and Wellness, we recently welcomed new providers in both our OB/GYN and primary care practices, with more to come. With its Canandaigua location having moved to a bigger space earlier this year, our outpatient Rehabilitation Services department – featured in the cover story – continues to thrive. At the same time, we are enhancing our wound care services and maximizing our impact within the University of Rochester Medical Center’s Transfer Center.
