CANANDAIGUA – In partnership with St. Benedict Parish of Ontario County, F.F. Thompson Hospital at 350 Parrish St. will host its 8th annual World Diabetes Day community forum on Thursday, Nov. 14, in the hospital’s Constellation Center for Health and Healing.
The event begins at 4:15 p.m. with registration, health screenings and exhibits. A light dinner at 5 p.m. will be followed by experts from Thompson Health’s Sleep Disorders Center discussing the link between diabetes and sleep disorders.
The event will conclude with a panel discussion, “Diabetes Management: It Takes a Team,” featuring a dietitian, dentist, pharmacist, physical therapist and sleep technicians.

In lieu of a program fee, donations of non-perishable items for the Blue Star Canteen of Canandaigua will be gratefully accepted at the event.
The Constellation Center for Health and Healing is on the north side of Thompson Hospital and is accessible via The Thompson Way, a private drive off West Street.
