CANANDAIGUA – Six local car owners took home awards after the annual Ferris Hills at West Lake/Clark Meadows Car Show on Sept. 6.
Receiving trophies at the closing of the event were:
- Best Exterior – Doug French of Victor, with a 1955 Chevy Bel Air
- Best Hot Rod – Bob Eisenhart of Pittsford, with a three-window 1932 Ford Highboy
- Best in show – Bill Halpin of Canandaigua, with a red 1965 Ford Mustang GT Fastback 289, V8 four-speed
- Best Antique – Richard Stearns of Canandaigua, with a 1914 Velie model 9-45 Torpedo Touring
- Best Interior – Ron Phillips of Stanley, with a 1930 Ford Victoria
- Best Classic – Bob Smith of Geneva, with a 1957 Chevy 210 Hardtop
The Paulsen and Baker Band, with special guest Tim Chaapel, provided the entertainment at the car show. This was the 8th annual car show hosted by the independent living and enriched living communities, and it attracted 43 entries.
