The Laboratory Department at F.F. Thompson Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of a new lab draw station in Victor on Friday, Feb. 1.
The new station is located at 6532 Anthony Drive, Suite B, just east of the Village of Victor. The station features convenient hours, experienced phlebotomists, short wait times and friendly staff. Services include blood draws and specimen drop-off.
“By putting our customers’ convenience first, this new draw station will allow the community to get the laboratory services they need close to home,” says Wendy Blakemore, laboratory services director at Thompson Health. “In addition, many patients tell us they prefer Thompson draw stations because of the speedy, friendly service.”
Orders from any healthcare provider on any type of requisition are welcome. All samples drawn at the Victor site will be sent to the newly expanded state-of-the-art laboratory at F. F. Thompson Hospital for analysis. This draw station joins Thompson’s four other locations: two in Canandaigua, one each in Farmington and Mendon.
Hours for this new location are:
• Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Once open, the draw station can be reached at (585) 924-3199. In the interim, call Thompson’s Client Services Manager at (585) 396-6540 for more information or visit www.ThompsonHealth.com for a complete list of the draw stations, hours and locations.
