CANANDAIGUA - Thompson Guild will hold its annual “Tree of Lights” tree-lighting ceremony on Monday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m. by the front entrance of F.F. Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St.
All are invited to attend this free holiday event. Refreshments will be served immediately following the tree-lighting ceremony, and there will be brief performances by the Canandaigua Fifth-Grade Chorus and the Thompson Toners. Both Thompson Bear and Santa Claus are expected to make appearances, as well.
Thompson’s Tree of Lights tradition allows community members to dedicate a light on Thompson’s holiday tree in honor or memory of a loved one. A minimum donation of $5 is collected per name.
Please make checks payable to the Thompson Guild and mail to: Tree of Lights, Thompson Guild, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424. Notification of the gift is mailed to the recipient along with an invitation to attend the lighting ceremony.
