CANANDAIGUA – Tickets are available for the F.F. Thompson Foundation’s annual gala, taking place the evening of Thursday, Sept. 1, at Lincoln Hill Farms, 3792 Route 247 in Canandaigua.
Individual tickets are $250 apiece, with some sponsorships still available, at www.ThompsonHealth.com/Gala. Proceeds will benefit Thompson’s Healthcare Education Fund, which allows UR Medicine Thompson Health associates in good standing to pursue higher education and achieve their career goals.
“In turn, the associates’ enhanced knowledge and skills directly benefit our patients and long-term care residents,” said Foundation Director Heather Rickett, who noted Thompson has a number of programs in place to help associates advance from entry-level positions to higher-paying jobs.
With a theme of “Field of Dreams,” the gala begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live music from Dave Turner by Lincoln Hill Farms’ silos. Following dinner in the Sunflower Hill Tent, there will be a live auction and a cash call prior to live music from Rolling Heads.
