CANANDAIGUA – Tickets are available for the Thompson Health Guild’s annual Fall Luncheon, to be held Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Ferris Hills at West Lake in Canandaigua.
The guest speaker for this year’s luncheon is Hope Moffett, author of “Traumatic Brain Injury: The Long Road Back,” sharing her story of overcoming life’s unexpected challenges.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., with a cash bar open. Entrée choices are a Monte Cristo sandwich with Waldorf salad, a chicken Caesar wrap with Waldorf salad or a pineapple boat with tuna or chicken salad. All entrées include pumpkin bisque and apple crisp à la mode.
The cost for a ticket to the luncheon is $20 per person. RSVP no later than Oct. 12 by calling Gail O’Brien at (585) 396-2756, and include your entrée choice.
Guests at the Fall Luncheon are asked to consider bringing a small, new, unwrapped toy or household item. These items will be included in the Guild’s “Better Than Black Friday Sale,” which allows associates of UR Medicine Thompson Health to purchase affordable holiday gifts for their families.
