CANANDAIGUA – “Wellness Toolbox,” a four-week series of free classes geared toward older adults, begins November 7.
Presented by UR Medicine Thompson Health’s Wellness Department in partnership with the Ontario County Office for the Aging, the series features tools and strategies to promote healthy connections, stress reduction, and mindfulness, with helpful tip sheets provided.
The classes will meet each Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Ontario County Safety Training Center, 2914 County Road 48 in Canandaigua. The schedule is as follows:
• November 7: Stress Management Overview and Sleep
• November 14: Meditation and Brightening Your Outlook
• November 21: Strengthening Social Connections
• November 28: Gentle Chair Yoga and Positive Self Talk
