CANANDAIGUA – UR Medicine Thompson Health Nutrition Services Director James Taylor recently received a Top 10 Illuminating Excellence Finalist Award from Premier, Inc., a healthcare improvement company encompassing approximately 3,900 U.S. hospitals and more than 150,000 other healthcare organizations.
Presented on June 20 in Nashville, Tenn., during Premier’s annual Breakthrough Conference, this award recognizes an outstanding food service professional for improvements in operations, participation in Premier activities, professional/community activities and personal achievements.
“It is always great to have the opportunity to be recognized for the effort, time and diligence put forth in order to assist in the mission and goals that we have as an organization. We are able to achieve these outlined goals through the dedication of our team. While I am proud to receive this award of recognition of accomplishment, my team members are the individuals who make this happen daily. I merely provide the vision. They are the true shining stars,” Taylor said.
