THOMPSON HEALTH TO HOST CLASS FOR SIBLINGS-TO-BE
CANANDAIGUA—The Perinatal Education Department at Thompson Health will host a class for young siblings-to-be on Sunday, Jan. 8, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the OB Conference Room at F.F. Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua.
The class is geared towards 3- to 10-year-olds and includes a tour of the Birthing Center, a “visit” with a newborn, a video presentation about changes to expect when a new sibling arrives and practice holding and diapering a baby doll.
Parents are required to be in attendance during the class. Information will be available for parents on how to prepare a child for a new sibling.
