CANANDAIGUA – Dr. Vijay Bansal, the medical director and chief of Emergency Medicine for Thompson Hospital, is now also serving as medical director of Finger Lakes Ambulance.
In this role, Bansal will oversee quality assurance, medical protocols, and narcotic and other controlled substance administration.
Earlier this year, Dr. Adam Cardina of Thompson’s Emergency Department became the medical director for the Canandaigua Emergency Squad. His appointment became effective on Feb. 12.
