CANANDAIGUA – Amy Daly of Spencerport was recently named vice president of Long-Term Care for UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
President/CEO Michael F. Stapleton Jr., FACHE, said Daly was selected after an extensive interview process, with unanimous agreement from the interviewing team. “Amy has spent the last 15 years working in the
long-term care field and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the position,” he said.
A licensed nursing home administrator with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a pending master’s degree in Health Education, Daly was the administrator for Hurlbut Care Communities’ Wedgewood Nursing Facility in Spencerport for more than 12 years and previously was an assistant administrator at The Hurlbut Nursing & Rehabilitation in Henrietta.
At Thompson, Daly now oversees a skilled-nursing facility called the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, as well as The Brighter Day, a medical adult day program. Both are located in Canandaigua.
“I’m excited to join an organization that has an excellent reputation for providing a high level of quality care as well as services along a continuum of care,” Daly said.
In addition to M.M. Ewing and the Brighter Day, Thompson’s senior living continuum includes enriched living apartments at Clark Meadows and independent living at Ferris Hills at West Lake, both in Canandaigua.
