CANANDAIGUA – With a number of positions available in its skilled-nursing facility, UR Medicine Thompson Health will have the facility’s leadership team and human resources professionals meeting with candidates on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
Interviews will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Constellation Center for Health and Healing on the northern end of F.F. Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
The 178-bed skilled-nursing facility – adjacent to the hospital – is called the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center. It currently has a five-star rating from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
The center has openings for certified nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses and registered nurses. There are also openings for two entry-level positions that do not require certification – resident assistants and nursing assistants. Training classes for nursing assistants are scheduled to be held in both January and February, so applicants interested in that position can apply for the class during their interviews.
To schedule an interview time on Dec. 29, call Sharon Krieger at (585) 396-6685. This allows the interview team to customize the session as well as spread out applicants with safety protocols in mind.
Interested candidates unable to attend on Dec. 29 or those who would like to see other Thompson Health positions available may visit www.ThompsonHealth.com/Careers to apply.
