CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Michael Zanghi, Director of Facility Operations at Thompson Health, has earned board certification in healthcare management and been named a Diplomat of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional society representing 30,000 healthcare executives. Zanghi joins the approximately 6,000 healthcare executives in the nation who hold Diplomat status in ACHE. To earn board certification, candidates must demonstrate their commitment to continuing education, progression in professional experience and participation in voluntary healthcare and community affairs. They must also successfully complete comprehensive written examinations covering subjects related to healthcare management. Zanghi, who has a Masters in Business Administration from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester, has earned the professional title "CHE" (Certified Healthcare Executive), indicating that he is board certified in healthcare management and an ACHE Diplomat.
