CANANDAIGUA, NY – Beginning Monday, July 8, Thompson Health will once again host monthly Farmers’ Markets in the front parking lot of the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
Run by Canandaigua Farmers’ Market President Phil Munson, the markets will be on a smaller scale than the Saturday morning markets held downtown, with approximately seven to eight vendors each time. They will offer a variety of fresh local produce and items for purchase between 12:30 and 3:40 p.m. not only on Monday, July 8, but also Monday, Aug. 5, and Monday, Sept. 9.
In addition, Thompson hosts a produce truck every Monday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in front of the Thompson Hospital, adjacent to M.M. Ewing on Parrish Street. These weekly visits from the produce truck are scheduled to continue through Oct. 7.
