The 4th annual Croppin’ for a Cure scrapbooking event, held at F.F. Thompson Hospital earlier this month, raised approximately $600 for Thompson Health’s Colon Cancer Awareness Education Fund.
The event coincided with “Dress in Blue Day,” launched nationally in 2009 by the Colon Cancer Alliance to raise awareness of colon cancer.
Thompson’s Ambulatory Procedures Center (APC), which organizes Croppin’ for a Cure each year, features a dedicated team of physicians and nurses who provide potentially life-saving screenings for colon cancer. For more information, call the APC at 585-396-6595.
