A small group of scrapbooking enthusiasts gathered recently for the 6th Annual Croppin’ for a Cure event at Thompson Hospital, raising almost $300 for the hospital’s Colon Cancer Awareness Education Fund.
This annual, daylong scrapbooking event is organized by members of the Ambulatory Procedures Center (APC) staff, dedicated physicians and nurses who provide potentially life-saving screenings for colon cancer.
The Ambulatory Procedures Center at Thompson recently relocated to a newly renovated space adjacent to the Surgical Care Center in the new Constellation Center for Health and Healing. This space, designed with patient privacy and comfort in mind, has double the number of endoscopy suites, minimizing wait times for procedure scheduling.
