CANANDAIGUA – In partnership with St. Benedict’s Parish Health Ministry, UR Medicine’s Thompson Health will host its 9th annual World Diabetes Day community forum on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the Constellation Center for Health and Healing at Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St.
Registration is at 4 p.m. and the event, called “Two Feet, 10 Toes…Keep Your Balance,” runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Dr. Kyle Perillo, a podiatrist, will speak about diabetes foot care and Thompson’s Linda Rowsick, RD, CD-N, will give a presentation on the glycemic index. A light supper will be served.

In lieu of a program fee, donations of non-perishable items for the Canandaigua Churches In Action food pantry will be gratefully accepted at the event.
The Constellation Center for Health and Healing is on the north side of Thompson Hospital and is accessible via The Thompson Way, a private drive off West Street.
