VICTOR – Athletes of all ages who are recovering from injuries are invited to attend upcoming Power & Agility classes at UR Medicine Thompson Health’s new Victor Rehabilitation Center.
Led by Athletic Trainer and Certified Physical Therapy Assistant Carrie Phelps, the classes are designed for those who are transitioning from therapy back to their sport. They will be held on six consecutive Mondays, Jan. 6 through Feb. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m.
With a progression of plyometric and agility training, class members will work on improving:
- Flexibility
- Strength
- Power
- Speed
- Balance
Participants can take part in as many Monday evening sessions as they choose, paying $15 per session as they go. Class size is limited, however. Online pre-registration is required, at www.ThompsonHealth.com/Power.
