VICTOR – Two of the physical therapists from the new UR Medicine Thompson Health Physical Rehabilitation location in Victor will host a free program Wednesday, June 19, at the location, 7670 Omnitech Place.
Called “PT for Me? How to Build Strength, Boost Endurance and Relieve Pain,” the one-hour program starts at 6 p.m. and will be presented by Parker Drumm and Cameron Johnson, both of whom have doctorates in physical therapy. Drumm and Johnson will cover:
- Common diagnoses and conditions that rehabilitative services may help address
- Statistics surrounding youth injury rates
- How a sports-related injury can be prevented
