CANANDAIGUA – A one-man enactment of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” held last month in downtown Canandaigua, raised approximately $2,600 for patients of UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
Held Dec. 2 at Finger Lakes Gallery & Frame with a reception beforehand, the performance featured Kim Tenriero and was hosted by Rob and Carole Lillis of Canandaigua. A matching grant from the business owned by Rob Lillis, Evalumetrics Research, contributed $1,000 of the total.
Proceeds will benefit the Breast Health Patient Navigation Program at the Dr. Laurie Sands and Constellation Breast
Imaging Center operated by Thompson. The center, which held its grand opening in 2015, is located at 195 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
“This event was a wonderful example of our community coming together to share their time and their talent. We are
grateful to all involved for their generous support of our patients,” said Anita Pietropaolo, director of the F.F. Thompson Foundation.
