CANANDAIGUA – A one-man enactment of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” held last month in Canandaigua, raised approximately $2,500 for patients of UR Medicine Thompson Health.
Held Nov. 25 at the First Congregational Church with a reception beforehand, the performance featured Kim Tenreiro and was hosted by Rob and Carole Lillis of Canandaigua. A matching grant from the business owned by Rob Lillis – Evalumetrics Research – contributed to the total.
Proceeds from the performance benefit the Breast Health Patient Navigation Program at the Dr. Laurie Sands and Constellation Breast Imaging Center operated by Thompson at 195 Parrish St. in Canandaigua. The program provides financial, spiritual and emotional support essential for a patient’s well-being following a diagnosis of breast cancer.
