CANANDAIGUA – The Canandaigua Medical Group will host an open house on Monday, Dec. 3, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at its new facility.
Both current Canandaigua Medical Group patients and others in the community are invited to tour the new building, which is located directly behind the existing building at 335 Parrish St. in Canandaigua.
The 44,000-square-foot facility includes a drive-thru pharmacy, a spacious lab draw station and on-site ultrasound for expectant mothers as well as Internal Medicine, OB-GYN and Pediatrics.
Refreshments will be served during the open house and the staff will be on hand to answer questions.
The staff of the medical group will begin seeing patients in the new facility on Dec. 10. The pharmacy and the ultrasound suite are expected to open soon after. The existing building is slated to be torn down to make room for additional parking.
The medical group, founded in 1951, became part of UR Medicine F.F. Thompson Hospital in May of this year.
Those attending the open house are asked to use the driveway from Middle Cheshire Road, opposite the office of Geoffry E. Hallstead, DMD.
