CANANDAIGUA – UR Medicine’s Thompson Health is joining more than 60 other Spirit of Women hospitals across the country to host a fun, stylish and information-filled women’s health event on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Ferris Hills at West Lake, 1 Ferris Hills in Canandaigua.
Designed to move women towards better health and vibrant living by providing education in a fun and fanciful fashion, Girls’ Night Out will feature the latest information on women’s health and wellness, while enjoying featured speakers, vendors, massages, appetizers and a cash bar.
Speakers include:
• Keely Parisian, MD – “Let’s Talk about Colorectal Health and Screenings”
• Karen De Brine, MS, DC, HAPI – “Alternative Approaches to Arthritis”
• Jeremy Biernat from Tall Trainer Fitness Systems – “Secrets to Incredible Life-Changing Body Transformations”
This is the fourth Girls’ Night Out hosted by Thompson, a member of the Spirit of Women network of hospitals dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to visit their healthcare provider annually for the appropriate/recommended screenings and assessments. This year, the theme of the event is “Little Black Dress.”
“Put on your favorite black attire, and we’ll show you why good health is your best accessory. It’s always in style,” said Thompson Health Spirit of Women Director Jeanna Savage.
