CANANDAIGUA – Kelli Furnare of Canandaigua has been named the new director of Diagnostic Imaging for UR Medicine Thompson Health, effective March 30.
A radiologic technologist, Furnare has been the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) supervisor at F.F. Thompson Hospital since 2007 and first joined Thompson 25 years ago, as a nuclear medicine technologist. In 2005, she was named the health system’s Associate of the Year.
Furnare has a bachelor’s of science in nuclear medicine technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology as well as an associate’s degree in business administration from Finger Lakes Community College. She is certified in nuclear medicine by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and has certification as a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) from the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety.
Retiring from the role of director of Diagnostic Imaging, after 19 years in the position, is Wendy Mulholland of Farmington.
