CANANDAIGUA – In partnership with Foodlink, UR Medicine’s Thompson Health is once again hosting
a Mobile Food Pantry on Friday, Nov. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The pantry will offer perishable foods, free of charge, to those in need. These items will include breads, fresh
fruit, fresh vegetables and dairy products.
Staff and volunteers from both Foodlink and Thompson will unload and distribute the food in the cafeteria of Thompson’s Constellation Center for Health and Healing. This building is located on the north side of the main Thompson Health campus and accessible via The Thompson Way, off West Street.
Those accessing the pantry will be asked to sign in – for Foodlink’s count purposes only – and must be at least 18 years of age. There are no income requirements and no residency requirements. No ID is required.
Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with no guarantee that there will be enough food for all. For more information, call (585) 396-6529.
