CANANDAIGUA – A $45,000 KeyBank Foundation grant awarded to Thompson Health is funding a workforce development initiative within the health system.
Distributed over three years, the gift will cover the cost of three training initiatives:
- Lean Six Sigma Practitioner Training Program: This program teaches participants how to develop solutions to problems and break down barriers to success by enhancing skills and capabilities in areas such as critical thinking, analysis and measurement, essential in today’s ever-changing healthcare environment.
- The Ritz-Carlton Legendary Service Program: Improving patient/resident care is a top priority for Thompson Health, and by adopting the Ritz-Carlton Legendary Service Program, Thompson intends to develop healthcare professionals who are highly engaged and focused on providing world-class care and service.
- Leadership Development Program: This program will equip managers and associate leaders with advanced decision-making and execution skills so they can emerge fully prepared to take on greater responsibilities facilitate innovation and ultimately drive improved performance throughout the organization.
