CANANDAIGUA – The Thompson Guild, the auxiliary for Thompson Health, recently purchased a 15-passenger bus for residents of the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center and participants at The Brighter Day, Thompson’s medical adult day program.
The air-conditioned bus features an automatic lift and is equipped to transport several people using wheelchairs. It will help the residents and participants stay connected to the community by ensuring that they can enjoy a variety of outings, in comfort.
The Guild, which has more than 200 members, holds a number of annual fund-raisers to support needs throughout the health system.
