CANANDAIGUA – The Thompson Health Guild is offering up to four, $2,000 scholarships to be awarded to students who have been enrolled their entire senior year at a high school located within the service area of UR Medicine Thompson Health.
These awards will be made on the basis of merit to high school seniors who will enroll in any university, college, or school offering post-secondary education in a health-related field. The scholarship awards are not restricted to a New York State college or university.
Scholarships are awarded at the guild’s annual dinner, in June. The scholarship funds will be presented in January 2020, following the recipients’ successful completion of their first semester of college with intent to continue to study in health-related fields.
Scholarship application forms have been distributed to area high school counselors and are also available at www.ThompsonHealth.com/Guild. Counselors complete the fourth page of the applications and submit them to the guild. All applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 19, in order to be considered.
