VICTOR — The 2016 Pink Fly Classic Ladies’ Golf Tournament, held June 4 at the Victor Hills Golf Club, raised approximately $11,400 for the Breast Health Navigation Program offered by UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
Since its inception 13 years ago, Pink Fly Golf has raised approximately $82,000 for breast health programs at Thompson. Thompson’s Breast Health Navigation Program, which will receive the money raised this year, is
offered at the Dr. Laurie Sands and Constellation Brands Breast Imaging Center, located at 195 Parrish St., across the street from the Thompson Hospital.
This year’s tournament sold out, with 144 golfers, in just three weeks. The event included support from close to 30 volunteers. The winning team – with a score of 67 – consisted of Tara Bearer, Patti Hanavan, Stacy Michalski and Vicky Rizzolo.
