CANANDAIGUA – Ferris Hills at West Lake, Thompson Health’s independent living community for seniors, will once again this year host Great Decisions, the nation’s longest-running global affairs education program.
The eight-week series of group discussions – facilitated by content experts – will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 5 and concluding March 26.
There is no cost to attend the one-hour discussions, and individuals may attend any or all. An optional lunch follows each discussion, for a cost of $9 per person.
Optional Great Decisions discussion books are available for purchase online, at www.GreatDecisions.org, and the schedule for the discussion series at Ferris Hills is as follows:

- Feb. 12 – Israel Foreign Policy
- Feb. 19 – Turkey’s Challenges
- Feb. 26 – Defense Technology
- March 5 – Food and Climate
- March 12 – U.S. Trade Policy
- March 19 – China’s Foreign Policy
- March 26 – Islamic Awakening
