CANANDAIGUA – Dr. Robert L. Smith of Finger Lakes Family Care will offer tips on effective ways to manage stress, protect one’s health and have peace of mind at a Wednesday, May 2, presentation called “Feeling Stressed?”
The event will touch upon diet and exercise, mindfulness and medications. It will be held at The Gathering Place in Wegmans, 345 Eastern Blvd. in Canandaigua, with check-in/refreshments at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Dr. Smith is board-certified as a family physician by the American Board of Family Medicine and was elected as a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2012. In 2006, he founded Finger Lakes Family Care. The practice, which became first medical office in the Finger Lakes region to achieve recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, became a part of UR Medicine Thompson Health in 2016.
