The Canandaigua USBC Bowling Association is hosting the 3rd Annual Bowl for the Cure at Roseland Bowl on Friday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m. Members of the community are invited to participate as individuals or as part of a team.
Prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded throughout the event. Funds raised will benefit Thompson Health’s Sands Cancer Center and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
By collecting a minimum of $25 in donations for Bowl for the Cure, each participant may bowl three games at no charge. Shoe and ball rental are also free of charge. Participants raising $100 or more will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
Individuals and local businesses are encouraged to form five-person teams to participate in the Corporate Night Challenge on Friday, Feb. 11. Teams that raise $500 or more are eligible to compete for the Corporate Cup.
