A family nurse practitioner with extensive experience in upstate New York joined Thompson Health’s Canandaigua Family Practice, effective July 20.
A native of the Adirondacks, Angela E. Fenton obtained her Master’s in Nursing, with honors, from the FNP program at SUNY Brockport in 2001.
For the past decade, Fenton has worked for the University of Rochester Medical Center, most recently as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department and in Occupational Medicine.
A West Bloomfield resident, Fenton is a certified Advanced Disaster Life Support instructor whose special interests include rural health and emergency preparedness. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is also certified in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
At the Canandaigua Family Practice, Fenton will work with LPN Krista Stonewell and consult with Dr. Michael Foote in regard to patient care. The practice will begin accepting new patients beginning September 1.
