Ferris Hills to Host Casino Night Sept. 18

CANANDAIGUA – Ferris Hills at West Lake, at 1 Ferris Hills in Canandaigua, will host “Casino Night” on Friday, Sept. 18, to benefit the UR Medicine Thompson Health Senior Living Team’s contribution to the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Casino Night will run from 7 to 9:30 p.m., with each guest receiving $500 in chips for blackjack, poker, craps and roulette.

CANANDAIGUA – The 14th annual Crosswinds 5K will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road in Canandaigua.
Runner check-in and registration is from 7 to 8:45 a.m., with a 9 a.m. race start. CANANDAIGUA – The 13th annual Tour de Thompson, held July 25, drew 120 riders from five states and raised almost $5,000 the Aftercare Program at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
To date, this bicycle tour offering scenic views of Canandaigua Lake and the Bristol hills has raised approximately $35,000 to help Rehabilitation Services patients at Thompson maintain their independence at home and in the community.
