CANANDAIGUA – The Diagnostic Imaging Department at UR Medicine’s Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St., will hold free varicose vein consultations on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.

CANANDAIGUA – “Clucks for Bucks,” a chicken barbecue benefitting palliative care, will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, in the parking lot of Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road in Canandaigua.

CANANDAIGUA – The 14th annual Crosswinds 5K will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road in Canandaigua.

CANANDAIGUA – The 13th annual Tour de Thompson, held July 25, drew 120 riders from five states and raised almost $5,000 the Aftercare Program at UR Medicine’s Thompson Health.
To date, this bicycle tour offering scenic views of Canandaigua Lake and the Bristol hills has raised approximately $35,000 to help Rehabilitation Services patients at Thompson maintain their independence at home and in the community.
