Thompson Offering Free Hernia Screenings March 1

CANANDAIGUA – UR Medicine’s Thompson Health will offer a Hernia Screening Clinic on Wednesday, March 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at 3170 West St. in Canandaigua.

The screenings are free of charge. Two general surgeons from Thompson’s medical staff – Dr. Joseph A. Talarico and Dr. A. David Peter – are conducting the screenings.

Thompson Imposes Visitor Restrictions Due to Flu

CANANDAIGUA – Based on an increase in influenza in the region, UR Medicine’s Thompson Health has instituted visitor restrictions at both F.F. Thompson Hospital and the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center.
