CANANDAIGUA – As its hospital focuses on establishing a “new normal” in response to COVID-19, UR Medicine Thompson Health has announced the cancelation of its Tour de Thompson.

CANANDAIGUA – Beginning Monday, May 4, both Thompson Health Gastroenterology and Thompson Health Pain Management will be located in the new Marilyn Sands Outpatient Clinic on the main campus of UR Medicine Thompson Health in Canandaigua.

CANANDAIGUA – After performing only emergency surgeries and outpatient procedures over the past several weeks, surgeons and specialists at F.F. Thompson Hospital expanded services as of Tuesday, April 28, to include semi-urgent and elective surgeries and outpatient procedures.

CANANDAIGUA –UR Medicine Thompson Health will open its Canandaigua Urgent Care on Monday, May 11.

UR Medicine Thompson Health’s urgent care centers in Farmington and Newark are now offering a telehealth option for patients who have immediate health concerns and who would prefer to remain at home.

CANANDAIGUA – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on many organizations in the community, the F.F. Thompson Foundation is extending the deadline for Mary Clark Thompson Grant applications to May 1.

CANANDAIGUA – Kelli Furnare of Canandaigua has been named the new director of Diagnostic Imaging for UR Medicine Thompson Health, effective March 30.

CANANDAIGUA – This past weekend, ahead of schedule, F.F. Thompson Hospital moved its intensive care unit operations from a seven-bed ICU to a new, state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU.

CANANDAIGUA – All local not-for-profit organizations whose programs improve the health and wellness of the community within the service area of UR Medicine Thompson Health are encouraged to apply by April 15 for Mary Clark Thompson Community Health Grants offered by the F.F. Thompson Foundation.

CANANDAIGUA – Chandeliers Boutique, 79 S. Main St. in Canandaigua, will host “Bloom with Style” on Thursday, March 26, to raise funds for the Thompson Health Guild.
