CANANDAIGUA – Each year, the Thompson Health Guild awards up to five scholarships – each for $2,000 – to area high school seniors who are pursuing careers in health care.

CANANDAIGUA – In light of the sharp decrease in COVID-19 cases tracked by local health departments, UR Medicine Thompson Health announced that effective today, March 9, hospital visiting hours will return to the pre-pandemic hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

CANANDAIGUA  - In partnership with Finger Lakes Community College, UR Medicine Thompson Health is offering a five-week training course for individuals interested in becoming certified nursing assistants (CNAs) at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. Classes are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 22.

CANANDAIGUA - Clark Meadows at Ferris Hills will hold an open house on Saturday, March 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

CANANDAIGUA – The regional Stroke Support Group hosted by UR Medicine Thompson Health will meet on Thursday, March 3. The meeting will be held at 1 p.m., via Zoom, and will feature peer interactions and discussion.
