The Canandaigua USBC Bowling Association is hosting the 3rd Annual Bowl for the Cure at Roseland Bowl on Friday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m. Members of the community are invited to participate as individuals or as part of a team.

In support of the American Heart Association’s national “Go Red for Women” initiative, Thompson Health will host a “Go Red for Women Day” on Friday, Feb. 4, from noon to 2 p.m. at F.F. Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua.

Doc’s Lakeside Seafood and Steakhouse recently raised $2,103.50 for Thompson Health’s Breast Cancer Patient Navigation Program, which provides women in our community free access to early detection services.

Thompson Health is teaming up with the Canandaigua Family YMCA to offer two special programs for athletes of all levels during the month of February: SportsmetricsTM and WIPP: Warm-up for Injury Prevention and PerformanceTM.

The facility combines full-field digital mammography with a new breast cushion that decreases discomfort.

The new equipment is thanks to the generosity of the Thompson Guild.

The recent Holiday Bazaar raised a record total of $7,550.

A groundbreaking ceremony for Thompson Health’s “Building a Healthy Future” capital campaign drew nearly 100 supporters of Project Excel, Thompson’s expansion and renovation initiative, on Monday, Nov. 15.

The Rochester Area Employment Network (RAEN) recently presented Thompson Health with the Regional Employer of the Year Award during a recognition event held in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
