Orthopaedic Surgery

We make it our goal to help every person reach theirs.

Those seeking orthopaedic care are looking to improve their body’s functionality – whether they are trying to reach a new personal best or comfortably walk up the stairs.

Our approach to orthopaedic care is to listen to our patient’s needs, understand their goals and apply our expertise to provide them with the best possible outcome.

Each year, surgeons at F.F. Thompson Hospital successfully perform hundreds of joint replacements, spinal surgery and joint, ligament or tendon repairs. Post-surgery, we work in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Services team  – in three convenient locations – to ensure that every procedure is accompanied by a thoughtfully designed and fully-coordinated therapy plan.

Our newly expanded orthopaedic team features an extensive physician team with sub-specialties in multiple areas:

  • Total Joint Replacements
  • Orthopaedic Trauma
  • Orthopaedic Tumors and Adult Reconstructive Surgery
  • Foot and Ankle Surgery
  • Upper Extremity, Hand and Wrist Surgery
  • Sports Medicine and Arthritis
  • Spinal Surgery
Pre-hab Therapy
Our Rehabilitation Services department offers a unique program to patients who will undergo total joint replacement surgery-“Pre-hab” in our therapeutic pool. This “pre-hab” program helps patients maximize their range of motion and strength to help ensure an optimal outcome.
