Thompson Health, part of UR Medicine, is the parent corporation overseeing the operation of five affiliate healthcare organizations in Ontario, Livingston, and Wayne counties. The corporations include F.F. Thompson Hospital, M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, FFTH Properties and Services, F.F. Thompson Foundation and F.F.T. Senior Communities. With a respected medical staff numbering more than 900, an active group of volunteers, and more than 2,000 associates, Thompson provides quality health care to approximately 215,000 residents of the greater Finger Lakes region.

Thompson Health was named one of Becker Hospital Review's "150 Top Places To Work in Healthcare" in 2023, 2022, 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015. Also, in 2022, 2020, 2019 and 2018, the health system was recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as a “Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality.” In recognition of workplace wellness initiatives, Thompson received the Wealth of Health Award from the Rochester Business Journal and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield in 2009, 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2019.
